A collection of letters from the novelist, during his early years at Harvard and his brief time in the Army, 1958-1959. Over 120 letters, approximately 480 pages, written to his girlfriend and muse, Marcia McGhee while she was a student at the Madeira School, and Vassar. Most of the correspondence between April 1958 and December 1959 explores Casey's student life, studies, and forays into acting and drama classes. Nearly all are accompanied by their mailing envelopes.
