Content Description This collection consists of Rhys Isaac's 1987 Thomas Jefferson Memorial Lecture at the University of Virginia. The lecture is titled "The Virginia Enlightenment: Construction in Time and Space" with annotation from Isaac to Gayle Cooper, Rare Book cataloger at the University of Virginia. Also included is a letter from Isaac to Gail [sic] and a list of Sabine Hall books requested for priority cataloging.

Content Description This collection contains the photographs of 20th century homes by Frances Benjamin Johnston that were printed for the University of Virginia under the terms of the Carnegie Survey of the Architecture of the South. These photographs were digitized and added to University's institutional collection in Artstor in the early 2000s. The photographs are arranged by location, and the materials in the boxes are order by location alphabetically.
