Biographical Note
Joan Alice Coyne was a young girl living in Elizabeth, New Jersey in the mid-1930s. She attended Robert Morris School 18 and lived at 610 Salem Avenue. Her father Timothy, a World War I veteran and construction foreman, fell to his death at work when Joan was five years old.
