Scope and Contents

Henry Gantt writes from Oakwood recommending the exchange of Bennett Taylor and praises Bennett as being his senior Captain. Gantt was from Scottsville, Virginia and served as a Colonel in the 19th Virginia Regiment Company F of Picketts Division.
