This is an addition to MSS 12766, W. Ralph Singleton papers. This collection includes personal and professional correspondence, brochures, photographs, clippings, reports, awards, publications, receipts, and speeches documenting the work and life of Singleton. W. Ralph Singleton (1900-1982) served as Miller Professor of Biology at the University of Virginia and Director of the Blandy Experimental Farm. Records pertain to his work on plant genetics, biographical data, his speeches and writings as a professor and director, his letters to family members and friends, and documentation of his travel and stay in Thailand and Manila.
