Virginia Voyages photographs and video recordings
Content Description
This addition to RG 2/3, Office of the President/ The Administrative Assistant to the President contains printed and digital photographs from Kelli Palmer, former assistant to John Casteen III, UVA president from 1990-2010. The images are from Palmer's time organizing Virginia Voyages trips with John Casteen. Virginia Voyages was a presidential travel and learn program as a form of donor stewardship and cultivation. There are thirteen DVDs labeled as follows: Scotland 2005 Photo Diary, Tuscany 2005 Photo Diary, UVA Burgundy 2006 (5 disks, 3 are duplicates), VaVoyages Palladio [Italy] 2009 (3 disks), Ireland 2008 (2 disks), and Sicily 2010. The printed photographs both in black and white and color, are selected photographs from the above photographs and the 2007 trip of the Civil Rights South tour led by Julian Bond.
