Content Description

This addition to the Fine Arts Library (RG 12/13) contains K. Edward Lay's, Cary D. Langhorne Professor Emeritus of Architecture at the University of Virginia, course materials. This addition contains approximately 3,000 35mm slides, along with related correspondence, notes, presentations, and lists of slide figure numbers, of locations throughout cities and counties across the Commonwealth of Virginia. The collection also contains CDs of architectural history throughout Albemarle County and Charlottesville, VA. Box 1 contains six sets of slides. The first set, "VA Counties A-F" holds 21 slide cartons and the second set, "VA Counties R-W, Misc" holds 10 slide cartons. The third set, "VA Cities" holds 20 slide cartons and the fourth set, "Charlottesville" holds 18 slide cartons. The fifth set, "Albemarle I Bradbury" holds 16 slide cartons, and the sixth set, "Albemarle II" holds 20 slide cartons. Box 2 contains two sets of slides with 20 slide cartons each, "VA Counties F-L" and "VA Counties F-R," along with an external storage drive, 8 CD-Rs, 3 DVDs, 1 CD Rom, 3 floppy disks, 1 zip disk, and 2 optical disks.
