Content Description
This collection, which makes up RG-23/144, Student Organizations/ Society of the Oval Table, contains a single piece of lined paper with a handwritten decree. This decree appears to be a UVA student secret society or student group, circa 1965. The document states, "The document was placed here on the 29th day of October 1965 by the Royal High Suzerains of the Secret Order of the Hippodamians of the Most High and Illustrious Society of the Oval Table./ Decree Number One of the Society/ The Attic of Bayly Museum shall be the meeting place and Official Document Depository and this Decree shall be duly deposited therein. / The Arch-Hippo."
