This addition to RG-16 (School of Continuing and Professional Development) contains photograph portraits of administrators working in the University of Virginia School of Continuing Studies and Professional Development. The five portraits are: Charles Gilmore Maphis - Director, Bureau of Extension, 1915-1922 and Director, Division of Extension, 1922-1925; Bruce Warren Nelson - Dean, School of Continuing Education and Assistant Provost for Continuing Education, 1974-1977; George Baskerville Zehmer - Director, Division of Extension, 1925-1955 and Dean, Division of Extension, 1955-1958; James Webb Cole, Jr. - Dean, Division of Extension and General Studies, 1958-1961 and Dean, School of General Studies, 1961-1968; F. Adelle Robertson - Dean, Division of Continuing Education, 1978-1986. The administrator’s name, title, and years of service are denoted by an engraved plaque.
