New York, 1842-1845. A calligraphy title page with elaborate flourishes, and a dedication page by Chas Wm. Nunn. The majority of the missives within the album (there are just over a dozen of them) are long poems, some of which are original. One features a fine watercolor vase of flowers. A second floral arrangement appears later in the album. Most of the entries are from what appear to be male suitors.
