Dick: Mary of Mantua -- Cemetery of Mount Auburn -- Now Westlin Wins -- The young mother -- Washington's house Mount Vernon -- Bess and her spinning wheel -- East Point and Passamaquoddy Bay -- Light house near Caldwell's landing (Hudson River) -- Harper's Ferry (from Potomac side) Miss Sarah Sutton's Album, select for religious precepts and literary extracts, and original pieces. New York, 1842-1845. A calligraphy title page with elaborate flourishes, and a dedication page by Chas Wm. Nunn. The majority of the missives within the album (there are just over a dozen of them) are long poems, some of which are original. One features a fine watercolor vase of flowers. A second floral arrangement appears later in the album. Most of the entries are from what appear to be male suitors.
