Content Description

This addition to RG 2/1/ 6, Office of the President/ the President/ the Rotunda, contains three Rotunda administration files from 1976 to 1991. "A Guide to the East Oval Exhibit Room in the Rotunda' discusses the history and evolution of the Lawn and Rotunda from Jefferson's time, through the 1895 fire and up to the 1976 rededication ceremony. The "Exhibit Management" folder contains correspondence on donation pledges to Rotunda exhibitions from 1985 through 1991. "The Civil War Memorial Plaques" folder roster outlines the names of University alums who served in the Civil War, their names captured in bronze within the University Cemetery.
