Palm leaf manuscripts
Content Description
This collection contains four palm-leaf manuscripts from South Asia, possibly from the 19th century. Three palm leaf manuscripts are pierced with one hole and bound with a cord threaded through, bundling the leaves. Each collection of leaves varies in the number of lines of script on each leaf (one, four, and five lines, respectively). The fourth is a single leaf punctured with two holes and contains five lines of script. The languages represented may be Khmer script, Thai Khom, and Tamil.
