This addition to MSS 14978, Martin C. Battestin Papers contains papers prepared by Martin Battestin for an edition of Fielding's A Treatise on the Office of Constable. This includes notes, photocopy of " A Treatise on the Office of Constable" from "Extracts From Such of the Penal Laws, as Particularly Relate to the Peace and Good Order of This Metropolis: To Which Are Added, Some General Cautions to Shop-keepers; And a Short Treatise on the Office of Constable "by John Fielding, Esq. housed at the Albert and Shirley Small Collections, and a CDR of reproductions of the digitized.
