One page letter to Joseph Funk dated August 15, 1832. Funk was a Mennonite, a pioneer, singing teacher, composer, publisher, and is considered to be the inventor of the Shape Note system. J.W. Hollis was the publisher of Funk's work. Funk's first book, A Compilation of Genuine Church Music, was published in 1832. This letter refers to corrections that are needed in the book.
