Content Description

This addition to RG-12/1 (UVA Library/The University Librarian) contains administrative records, internal University of Virginia publications, and artworks collected by Dean of Libraries John Unsworth. Included in the collection are Library Faculty Council minutes, a chronology of University libraries, Historic Preservation Framework Plan, Jefferson Trust correspondence, and University Communications correspondence are also present. In addition to these materials, there are artworks related to the main library, including an intaglio print of the Rotunda and Library, a photo from the Baltimore Sun records of the North Front of the library from 1939, and a handwritten/drawn fold-out titled “At Last, the Whole Alderman Library Catalog, Access to Knowledge: An Alternative Guide to Alderman Library.”
