This collection documents the work of Dr. John Doughty Bonvillian at the University of Virginia in the Department of Psychology and the Interdepartmental Program in Linguistics. The collection includes notes, correspondence, research, work files, secondary source articles, conference presentations, theses and dissertations, VHS tapes, floppy disks, and optical disks. Box 1 contains published articles; Box 2 his work on Simplified Signs; Box 3-5 Dissertations, Theses and Conferences; Box 6-12 Upstairs Office files, which are mostly organized by topic; Box 13-36 files stored in his lab; Box 37-38 Home Files which are materials Bonvillian maintained at his home.
