This collection contains clippings, printed emails, correspondence, member lists, fact sheets, resolutions, press releases, memoranda, and printed essays documenting the living wage campaign at UVA in the 1990s. Herbert Tucker, John C. Coleman, Professor of English and part of the Labor Action Group (LAG), collected and created these materials. LAG started the campaign for a living wage at the University of Virginia. The clippings include content on union organizing and the living wage movement at UVA. The printed email correspondence is primarily between Tucker and other University faculty and staff about the living wage campaign.
