Content Description

Unusual friendship album appears to have been written by three people writing over years. The entries are written by "Omega," "Rover," and "Hiram." Hiram is later identified as Eliza's husband, Hiram Howland. The majority of the entries are written by Hiram and tend to be love poems, mostly original. Most are titled "To Eliza." Additionally there are two letters, with their corresponding envelopes, both are written by Hiram to Eliza on Valentine's day and are love poems as well.
