Content Description

This addition to RG 18/2 (Office of Student Affairs/The Dean of Students) contains memos, correspondence, reports, rosters, contracts, poetry, memorandum of understanding, programs, CD-R, and DVDs documenting the work of the Office of the Dean of Students and Rhonda Saunders, Executive Assistant, and Office Manager for the Dean of Students. Most of the files document student groups, including rosters of student government from 2002 to 2013, reports on the standing of fraternity and sorority life, and the Jefferson Society's attempt to retain their right to Jefferson Hall reservation for literary and debate activities. Others document the creation of new offices and committees, including the formation of the Blagden Committee, a University entity that awards Lawn Room boarding scholarships, and documentation on the 2015 creation of the Office of Student Affairs' Sexual Harassment Resource Agency. Additionally, other material documents the Office of the Dean of Students including a file on the history of the Office of the Dean of students, a collection of poems dedicated to staff members of the Office of the Dean of Students, many of which are holiday themed, and a file on the Memorial Services for Sybil Todd, Assistant Professor, and Assistant Dean at the Curry School (1972-1978) and the Associate Dean of Students (1978-1995) at the University who died in 2007 which include memorial programs, statements, a memorial service DVD, and a memorial music CD.
