This addition to RG 1/1/1, The Rector and the Visitors/ The Board of Visitors/ Minutes, contains the December 9, 2022, meeting minutes. The minutes document the regular work of the Board, including the approval of the 2023-2024 Graduate Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees, Faculty and Staff Housing Rates for 2023-2024, and Student Housing Rates for 2023-2024 for the Academic Division, The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, and the Mountain Lake Biological Station. Of particular interest is the Discussion with University Leadership by President Ryan, Remarks by the Rector, and Remarks by the Student Representative, which reflected on the November 13 events that resulted in the deaths of D’Sean Perry, Devin Chandler, and Lavel Davis and the resulting response from the University community.
