Content Description
This collection contains racist imagery, in particular, instances where students are wearing blackface. There is also sexist imagery displayed on banners. The purpose of this note is to give users the opportunity to decide whether they need or want to view these materials, or at least, to mentally or emotionally prepare themselves to view the materials. This addition to RG 30/1 Administration, Operations, And Extraneous Records/ Photographs include nine photographic prints of photographer Edward (Ed) Roseberry. The images capture University of Virginia and student organization events, including fraternity social events, that occurred on or adjacent to the University from February 1963 to April 1968. The back of each print contains information on the event, camera, lens, film, shutter, and exposure.
