Administration, Operations, and Extraneous Records-addition 4 UVa diplomas
Content Description
This addition to RG 30/5, Administration, Operations, and Extraneous Records/ Diplomas, contains two University of Virginia diplomas from the late 1800s. Both have "University of Virginia" in large text at the top, an embossed University seal at the bottom right corner, and a teal ribbon at the bottom of the diplomas. One diploma is blank and declares "proficiency" in a given subject, while the other diploma is largely completed diploma declares a person a "graduate" of the University. The largely completed diploma is awarded in the field of history, but no name is present. It is signed by the secretary and the chairman of the faculty and is dated June 15, 1898.
