Scope and Contents
This letterbook dating from 1823 to 1828 contains primarily outgoing correspondence written by James and G. T. Lambert, father and son solicitors based in London. Most of the letters in the first half of the volume concern James Lambert's purchase of an estate in western Yorkshire near Settle. The volume begins with a name index of correspondents.
This letterbook was a gift of Neill H. Alford, Jr. in 1984.
