Biographical / Historical

Born on 24 August 1869, George Newton Conrad married Emily Pasco of Monticello, Florida, and had six children, two of whom also became lawyers, and one of whom also received his law degree from Virginia Law; that son was Samuel J. Pasco, Law 1899. Conrad and both sons lived and practiced law in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Conrad served as Rockingham County Commonwealth's Attorney for 12 years, was a respected member of the Virginia State Senate, and was... active in church and civic affairs until his death on January 21, 1937.
