The Otto Herman Weiss photographs (circa 1900-circa 1950; 0.4 cubic feet) document Virginian buildings, streetscapes, and landscapes in the early to middle twentieth century. The collection contains approximately 150 gelatin silver print photographs by Weiss. Subjects include extensive images of Norfolk, Fredricksburg, and Williamsburg, along with aerial photographs of Richmond, Norfolk, and Washington, D.C.

This collection contains the account book of George M. West, a book seller from Richmond, Virginia. The account book is handmade and is titled "Account Book Express 1853." Inside the book are ten loose signatures. Each page has an individual's name listed on the top line. Most of the book is blank. Also included is a printed advertisement for West's bookshop.

This document reports the results of an investigation into Japan's use of U.S. prisoners of war in medical experiments at Kyushu Imperial University during World War II. Robert N. Tait submitted it to the Legal Section of office of the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers on September 30, 1947.
