Scope and Contents
A journal published by the Center for the Study of Mind and Human Interaction at the University of Virginia. The Center was founded by psychiatrist Dr. Vamik Volkan. Subjects covered in the journal include psychiatry and psychoanalysis. Intended as a quarterly publication; some issues may be missing from the Library's collections. Publication discontinued September 2005. Description of the journal from Volume 4, No. 3: Mind & Human Interaction "explores the unconscious and conscious interplay between the internal and external worlds of human beings. It analyzes current events by drawing on the expertise of an international and interdisciplinary pool of scholars and statesmen, primarily from a psychoanalytic frame of reference".
