The George M. Marks (Law Class of 1876) Memorabilia Collection
Scope and Contents
This small collection consists of lithoprinted copies of the Lectures of professor John B. Minor on “Personal Property” and “Remedies, including Pleading and Practice”, and a top hat. The six original bound lectures and hat belonged to George H. Marks, of Montgomery, Alabama, Class of 1876, who attended the School of Common and Statute Law at the University of Virginia. The collection was donated by his great granddaughter, Ms. Eugenia McCoy, on June of 2018.
