Biographical / Historical
The Commonwealth of Virginia established the Court of Appeals on January 1, 1985. It is an appellate court that hears appeals from decisions from Virginia's circuit courts and the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission. Appeals from this court go to the Supreme Court of Virginia.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
