This collection includes at least two copies of every issue of the Virginia Law School Report. Issues of the Report contain articles that highlight the work of students, faculty, and administrators at the University of Virginia School of Law. Also, between 1977 and 1990, the annual reports for the University of Virginia Law School Foundation were published here.

Scope and Contents The Dean's Papers date back to 1912, which was eight years after the first dean was appointed, and go forward to the early twenty-first century. These records document the growth of the administration from a time when there was one dean, a part-time clerical assistant and a faculty of five, to a time when there are four deans, three secretaries and a faculty of more than fifty; from a time when there were two hundred students, to the 1970s when there are more than a thousand students. ...

The records of the Virginia Tax Review consist of administrative files related to the publication of the journal. The archives retained contracts with the authors, two files of correspondence with Mortimer M. Caplin, an SBA file with a handbook and guidelines, and the course syllabus for the Alternative Dispute Resolution class taught by William L. Waddell.

Orders of contract proof, distribution and offprint orders were recycled after keeping a few samples.

This collection consists of examinations that the University of Virginia Law School administered to students between 1890 and 2018. It also includes a few examples of examination answers.

The examinations exist in diverse media formats. Most of them are printed on paper, and most printed examinations are bound together into volumes. The other examinations were born digital and were initially made available to students online or on digital media (e.g., CDs, DVDs).

This ongoing collection primarily documents the history of the Libel Show at the University of Virginia School of Law. It includes the following materials dating from 1930 to the present: scripts, programs, video recordings, tickets, photographs, posters, and clippings.

In addition to these materials, collection RG-32-201 contains a membership book for the University of Virginia chapter of Phi Delta Phi (Minor Inn). The book dates from 1890 to 1957.
