Arrangement

The clerks of the Charlottesville Corporation and Circuit Courts arranged the records in the books chronologically. In this series, the books are also arranged chronologically.

Related Materials

Copies of many of the records in this series were sent to the Virginia State Corporation Commission. The Library of Virginia preserves copies of the Commission's charter books.
