Scope and Contents Mary Ann Magnoni Sabbath notebook, 1836, 0.03 cubic feet, presented to Mary Ann Magnoni by her Sabbath School teacher (Mr. Bumstead) at the First Baptist Church of Boston. She used the notebook like a diary to record home prayers, church worship, and Sunday school events in 1836 when she was approximately twenty-two years old. John McAllister Jr., letter to his mother, 0.03 cubic feet, 1837. McAllister, a Philadelphia manufacturer, wrote to his mother about his wife Eliza's trip to White Sulpher [sic] Springs and other Virginia resorts. With his wife traveling in the South, McAllister adds his own observations on a North/South split just then occurring among Presbyterians meeting in Philadelphia.

Kent's store receipts and documents, 1850's, 0.06 cubic feet contain detailed documents with names, dates, and financial accounts, line items, and descriptions of goods or services rendered. Included are a Fluvanna County Sherrif's receipt which includes a tax category for "Slaves" at 60 cents each and "whites" at 40 cents each; also a medical related receipt to Mrs. Betsy Ham "To visit little negro & prescrition," for the fee of 2.00.

Music fesival in Charlottesville press photograph, 1931, 0.03 cubic feet, 8x10 original with newspaper caption, "1,000 sing at music festival--the greatest music festival event in Viginia history, the Virginia music festival at Charlottesville recently came to a close.
