This collection of a James Albert Clark letter to Dr. Babitt is 0.03 cubic feet, and is dated August, 1892 about the genealogy of the Carter family. Included is a transcript of the letter which was written on 'Free Quill' letterhead to Dr. Babbitt in Cooperstown, New York. Clark is editor and publisher of the 'Free Quill,' in Laurel, Maryland.
