Hillsboro, Virginia store ledger (1836-1850; 0.44 cubic feet) is comprised of approximately 200 pages filled out or partially filled out. Names of customers include Dettor, Wayland, Bowen, Ramsey, etc., whose properties surrounded Hillsboro (now Yancey Mills). The store was owned or funded by James Gunstead and Alexander K. Yancey.
