An early manuscript fair copy by Samuel Woodworth of his poem "The Old Oaken Bucket," first published in The Republic Chronicle (June 3, 1818). Business card or bookplate of John Wesley Jarvis, 8 Lispenard Street, New York, on page [1], and the ink notation "Song Jarvis" on page [2]. Text of the poem appears on pages [3] and [4].
