UVA History of Childhood, Parenting, and Family Building-addition 78 - Gender Expansive Families Poster Set
Content Description
This addition to MSS 16758, UVA History of Childhood, Parenting, and Family Building, contains eleven Risograph-printed posters, produced between 2023 and 2025 to support trans kids and one flyer. The posters were created at the Gender-Expansive Families Propaganda Party in Brooklyn, New York, held at the Interference Archive on March 23, 2025. The party is an annual community gathering that produces materials to support transgender and gender-expansive rights in preparation for Trans Day of Visibility events, typically held a week after the event. The content of the posters encourages and celebrates the inclusion of gender-expansive families, LGBT identities, and transgender children in New York and across the United States.
