Morton-Halsey family papers - addition 1
Content Description
This addition to the Morton-Halsey family papers (MSS 3995) contains letters, documents including clippings, receipts, daybooks, calendars, and ledgers from the Morton and Halsey family. Some of these materials include typed transcriptions of the letters which include additional information about the family completed by Mildred E. Towe Tyner and Elizabeth D. Tyner. These materials were arranged by the donors chronologically which has been kept as an arrangement system. Box 1 contains documents from 1830-1907. Box 2 contains documents from 1908-1929, undated material, as well as items like calendars, ledgers, and a daybook. Box 3 contains unorganized material covering the 19th century. This collection is minimally processed and open for research.
