Sandy Gilliam papers-addition
Content Description
These records include a mix of materials. This includes the personal papers of Sandy Gilliam MS 15240, a self published memoir of UVa alum J. Lawrence Grim, Jr. (RG 22/2), and a variety of pamphlets from events across grounds from 2019. The personal papers document the letterd from a Charles Macalester from Philadelphia to Robert Gilliam, a leading attonery, in Petersburg, Virginia. It is possible that the Macalesters in the letters are the father and son merchant family from Philadelphia. The letters cover a variety of topics both personal and professional topics and document a close friendship between the two men.
