This collection contains the records of New Literary History, a scholarly journal founded in 1969 as part of the Sesquicentennial Celebration of the University of Virginia. It consists of the office files for the journal which includes correspondence, notes, drafts, slides, photographs, audio cassettes, and floppy disks. It also includes the professional and personal papers of Ralph Cohen. Cohen was an English professor at the University of Virginia and the founder of New Literary History and editor from 1969 to 2008.
