Scope and Contents

This addition to Professor Daniel J. Meador Papers (40 boxes, 18 linear ft.) is arranged according to the order in which it was found in his office at the University of Virginia after his death. A large compilation of general papers arranged by alphabetical order, relate to his professional work with different organizations, the Appellate Courts, the Justice Department and is followed by papers pertaining to specific legal cases. There is extensive documentation related to Mr. Meador’s fictional works and papers pertaining to his academic writings. The collection also contains photographs, certificates, printed materials and other miscellaneous items.

The General Papers comprised all professional files and teaching materials.
